We did it, and raised £10,888.35 in aid of the Stroke Association
The team consists of 9 members – some walkers and some support.
Each member of the team has life experience of the devastating effects of stroke which has compelled them to be part of the Roy’s Crazy 88 Trek To The Coast.
We’ll be walking 88 miles from Nottingham to Mablethorpe between Wednesday 13th April and Good Friday, 15th April 2022.
The route takes us from Nottingham to Lincoln; Lincoln to Horncastle then Horncastle to Mablethorpe. Click here for more details of the route.
Our ambition is to raise awareness of the work of the Stroke Association and also raise much needed funds.
Our fundraising target is £8,888.88 – ambitious we know, but with your support and encouragement together we can do this!
Visit our Team Bio’s page for a word from each team member explaining why they became part of Roy’s Crazy 88.
If you can relate to the team’s experiences of the devastating effects of stoke, or indeed have your own, and you wish to lend your support please donate whatever you can and feel free to browse our blogs, where you will find information about the walk and insights into the wonderful work the Stroke Association delivers.
Every little really does help and make a difference and we thank you for your kind generosity and support.
